TheClanIndex Rules

The following rules are applicable to all regstered members of TheClanIndex

1. Content
While listing your clan, gaming or community website you must not produce any advertisment banners or images that contain any of the following material: adult material, illegal activity, indecent violence. We have groups of all ages and must respect this. Also while promoting a personal website in a profile or message you must not link to any of the following material: Warez, illegal activity, adult material.

2. Privacy
Any information we gather from registration or surveys is kept in confidence to TheClanIndex. We will not share or sell your information to any third party organisation or other persons. We may store cookies on your machine to make your browsing experience easier however these are encrypted and hold no personal information about you.

3. Voting
Votes for any clan website are checked and verified against our internal system. One computer can only make one vote per 24 hours. Other votes will not be counted. However if we find your voting activity suspicous we reserve the right to suspend your account until further notice or investigation. Large amounts of false/spam votes will be dealt with quickly and harshly.

4. Cheating
If you or any other party are found to be cheating on our clan listing index we reserve the right to prevent you access to TheClanIndex and any other parties involved. We class cheating as any of the following: gaining unaurthorised access to our website, using proxy services to gain more votes, Paying other persons to vote for your clan.

Failure to adhere to the above rules will lead to suspension/termination of your account.
